QnA part 2
1. List 5 things that make you happy this week! From @defshallow
Meiska: “First, I am so happy I feel so much better now after not feeling well for almost two weeks! Second, I am happy to work with my new boss. She came from a relevant background before, and is smart! She had brought better changes of course. Third, I am looking forward to this podcast recording. And then, I will go to Cilegon next month (my hometown), to attend my high school best friend’s wedding. And lastly, I’m happy because I eat tasty food!”
Elsa: “I just mention four things. First, I had my ukulele finally! Second, my packed schedule for these two months that helped me to keep going. Third, sambal roa, the only sambal I’d love and my precious gem I bought from Indonesian store in Stockholm. Lastly, my closed friends who fought and strove for the best of their life!”
2. What’s your best and worst purchase in life and why? From @yuliarat
Meiska: “My best purchase is my new laptop. One of my former bosses from work, sold it very cheap. Although there is a defect, luckily it doesn’t affect my laptop performance. I’m so happy I could work without having to charge it like my old laptop haha. My worst purchase is my Captain Marvel sweater. It was an impulsive buying lol! The design was good, but when I wore it I felt like doing a cosplay lol. Maybe I will sell it later!”
Elsa: “My best purchase is my iPhone 6, I bought it twice haha. Even if my current iPhone 6 would not be functioning anymore, I wouldn’t have any urgency to buy the latest iPhone in the market (and hope that they’d still sell iPhone 6)! My worst purchase is a student membership here in my campus. I perceived it as 15 euros charity because I didn’t get any privilege they promised.”
3. What getting older means to you? From @chevianadia
Elsa: “Getting older means trying not to bother and not to give any trauma to others. Let people enjoy things! It also means trying to be independent and be responsible for my life.”
Meiska: “Quoting UncleBen Parker, for me getting older means bigger responsibilities haha. As we grow older we are faced with a lot of diverse and harder life choices; such as from families, friends, relationship, and work. We should be responsible for those heavy responsibilities. Even when we choose the irresponsible choices, we should be ready with the consequences.”
4. If you can combine two country stereotypes, which ones would you choose to be your working partner? From @ratihnawangwulan
Meiska: “It’s obvious for me hahaha. First, I chose Japan because I have worked as their U-19 National Team liaison officer before. JFA organized training camp activity in Jakarta, as we were the host for AFC U-19 Championship 2018. Their hardwork, punctuality, discipline, and compliance had proven me that they qualified to World Cup U20 Poland in 2019. Second, I really don’t know. If it is Indonesia, maybe because our famous mutual cooperation, and kindred spirit. But I’m sure once I work with other nations, I’d learn new values from their stereotypes that suits mine.”
Elsa: “Finland, because Finnish folks have no bullshit and they keep their words. Second is States or India, because most of their people complement me to be the ones who come to the stage first and speak up.”
The prize winners are Yustika (@yustikamaulana) and Rania (@defshallow) (one of us will get in touch with you personally soon!) Congratulations and thank you for participating in our podcast! We’ll see you in next celebration podcast!
