Following the resume of Premier League 19/20 season, suddenly all those hopelessness Liverpoool FC and their fans felt eventually found a way out! Along the way, win after win, crisis after crisis, LFC passed all those and grabbed UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup titles! It wouldn’t have came true without everyone’s involvement of dedication, commitment, and passion!

This time, I’m inviting my colleagues and friends of football enthusiasts to express their feelings about LFC —finally after 30 years— become Premier League Champion after consistently table-topping, leading the league! Champion of Europe! Champion of The World! Champion of England!
Muhamad Rahmawan (Colleague at work/International Relations/The Reds)

From the bottom of my heart, I feel so happy that LFC become the Champion of England this season! Because all my life, this is the first time Liverpool FC crowned as Premier League Champion. I’ve been supporting LFC since 2001! I hope this is not going to be the first and the last moment in my life. And, I wish this can be a stepping stone for LFC to win more domestic and international tournaments. You’ll Never Walk Alone. We're Liverpool,
The Spion Kop, We've conquered English and we're never gonna stop!

Dear Liverpool FC,
Congratulations on winning the league! A well-deserved long waited title. I am one of the believers that in this modern era, not only hard work is needed to win the league, but the synchronization and trust between the club’s management and the team is also a significant key point. Success takes patience and trust. It’s a process not instant. I can say that Liverpool FC is the main proof of my belief. I would like to say thank you for that. Enjoy the party while it last! See you next season (will there be a surprise in the transfer market? We’ll see!)

Through this letter I want to express how thankful I am to Jurgen Klopp who has been impressively managing the club since 2015. His arrival turning Liverpool from doubters to believers, he always got creative tactical, and most important thing: team building for the squad. Jurgen Klopp successfully creates a family in Liverpool FC that not only look professional on the pitch, but also like a father figure for the lads off the pitch. He brings all the culture together to make sure the team keep moving toward the goals. Jurgen made liverpudlian around the world dreams come true, making us believe we could go again every year for winning the titles. I was also amazed at every Liverpool players for their never ending spirit, determination, ability to unified as a team, and how each of the player's skill evolved to consistently bringing good results and making fantastic records among all the football clubs in England. Watching Liverpool FC throughout the 2019/2020 season has been my best moment as a football fan. What an absolute fantastic journey. Indeed together, "You'll never walk alone" let's go for more trophies next year! Thank you also to Liverpool FC for keeping us living the joy at home during this difficult pandemic situation.

The pandemic is not over yet, but everything is reopening step by step. At least in Ireland where I live, the curve is flattening with numbers of new cases are less than 25 people and 0-3 death cases per day. The confirmed cases are around 25 thousand per 7th July 2020, or just 0.5% of total Ireland population. It is a promising statistics, true.

The government forced an early stage of lockdown and it was a successful move. Besides, there are also things I observed on how Ireland fight over the pandemic:
Supermarket

They limit the number of people going into the supermarket and make a clear queue line to wait outside with proper distance. Inside, there is a hand sanitizer and tissue booth provided by the supermarket. Apart from sanitizing my own hand, I also need to wipe the handle of the trolley before going further to the aisles.

The supermarkets limit the number of people in each aisle. I need to wait if the number of people looking for goods in the aisle already reach the limit. Remember, paciencia señorita.

They also provide dedicated time for vulnerable groups to do their shopping to minimize the infection risk. Touched.
School service for mental health
Schools do concern about the students’ mental health. In my university, there is a team that conduct a mindfulness meditation regularly in Zoom, it didn’t take long just merely 30 minutes per day.

The student counselling service in my university has created a helpful study skills videos, such as managing procrastination, managing time, enhancing concentration and managing feelings during this time. The good news is, you are able to access it here! It’s really a practical and short advice they gave (1-3 minutes per video).
Moreover, I also amaze on how several universities in Dublin (not only my university) collaborated to provide useful information for students in pandemic survival. They provide a series of video about designing a routine, managing mental health, and managing exam preparation, study and relaxation. You can also watch it here!

And the best thing is to e-meet my classmates in Zoom (we couldn’t meet in the early pandemic months although we just live in radius of 15 kilometers each other) was a stress relieve.
Public transportation

They limit the seating capacity of the public transportation. The passengers cannot sit on the space with a yellow sign as in the photo. If someone do not follow the rule, the driver who can monitor it over CCTV will give a warning from a microphone. Big brother is watching you.

The interesting finding here is that most of the people are not used to wear face mask, they do believe with sanitizing and social distancing but face covering. As it is their culture, it has been rooting for long time ago and hard to change. Even the government has urged the use of face mask just starting from July (a bit late and loose compared to Asia), and they are struggling to enforce it (no fine binding for this). No wonder in some services, only 40 to 90 percent passengers comply with this new habit. Yet they curve is flattening! It is still on my observation— there are many things apart from the face covering that support the success of fighting over the pandemic. After all, there is not an absolute answer applicable for all the countries, right?
