In this edition, we are still going to share the rest of unanswered questions from our readers when we opened QnA sesh! We want to start something fresh by writing more point of views. To the lucky winners, congratulations! Hoping you like the prize!
What time you feel you're beautiful? From @yustikamaulana
Meiska: “Well physically speaking, it’s when I finish taking a bath, straighten my hair, and using some simple no-make-up make up. Most importantly, when I feel like wearing basic outfits that suit me. That’s when I feel comfortable, fresh, and confident with myself!”
Elsa: “When I’m wearing black clothes or oversized plain shirt I do feel fab! Or, after doing my workout, I can see my face turning red and that’s the moment I consciously love my body.”
Thought about government during this pandemic? From @yustikamaulana
Meiska: “I wish they tried harder to lockdown this country from the first place. But, rather than talking about it, I prefer to focus on myself to comply with the new normal protocols and my (and people I’m close with) personal hygiene.”
Elsa: “Oh my God I can relate with this so much and I can talk from my own experience! I’m impressed with how the government managed the citizens coming back from abroad to Indonesia, I felt safe and treated really well. I got 5 stars hotel stay with suites room for quarantine, I got two PCR tests, I got breakfast-lunch-and dinner delivered to my room, and all things are provided by the government for free. That’s wow.”
What age both of you will be married? From @rainnymalia
Meiska: “Hopefully before I turn 29 haha!”
Elsa: “Hm I think I will try to consider it after I turn 30 years old.. Can I marry myself?”
What keeps you going? From @parapills
Meiska: “Throwing back to our first #Salmonday, I still found my answer relevant to answer your question. Other than that, I also want to reach my full potential, hence I could be as resourceful as possible to my surroundings.”
Elsa: “I do believe with Ted Talks video from Emily below. What keeps me going is that I have four things: belonging, purpose, transcendence, and storytelling. I have my belonging in my inner circles. I have my purpose when I listen to people’s struggle. I have my transcendence moment when I listen to music with my own world. I do storytelling with Salmon Mentai and my life journal. Those are the reasons why I should get up every morning.”
Do you think capital punishment/death penalty should be existed? What is the most humane way to punish a person that have done inhumane crime? From Riza
Meiska: “To be honest, I’m not sure I have enough reason to answer this. Sometimes I found it fair because the case he/she is sentenced guilty from took someone’s life (or many? like terrorists), I guess it’s even. However, some people deserve second chance, so I’m still 50:50. About the most humane way, I really have no idea. Social punishment is brutal and sadistic already today.”
Elsa: “It’s been a debate motion when I was in high school and my answer always depended on which side I was— the affirmative or negative one! So I think I have inconsistency to answer this question because it’s like the two sides of the same coin. Whatever the punishment is, I will look into the impact it will bring to the greater number of people.”
Is there any important thing for you but it’s actually not important for others? From @damaskecil
Meiska: “Whenever I drink from glass, I always observe inside my glass. I only want to drink the most clear water if possible, so if there’s any particles or small insects, I’ll throw the water, and refill my glass again until I get crystal clear water hahaha. Basically any drink in glass. That’s why I always prefer to drink from new bottle, but I know it’s so not environmentally friendly. The best I can do is to wash my own glass, so I know it’s clean. Lol”
Elsa: “I write with my blue Sarasa pen (a locally made-pen by Zebra brand) everyday, instead of the black one, even for exam and documents signing. I also brought my own blue Sarasa pens from Indonesia to Europe and I had a stock for 2 years use! I’m a laggard type of person for a pen choice because I’m a lefty and I write a lot.”
Do you want to have kid(s)? How many kid(s) do you want? Why? @rainnymalia
Meiska: “Yes. I don’t know, maybe one. Just because.”
Elsa: “It’s gonna be an interesting journey to have kids and to know there are someone who take their life in my hand. That feeling is surreal and it can’t be explained logically. So.. maybe one or two kid(s) will be merry?”
